The Trilby takes its name from George du Maurier’s 1894 novel Trilby, where the style was worn by the title character. It later became a defining hat of 20th-century fashion, known for its compact proportions and distinctive dipped front brim.
The Trilby is crafted from premium felt with a smaller crown and proportions than a traditional Fedora, finished with a neat 5.5cm brim dipped at the front. The black features a clean cut edge, while the brown is finished with a traditional bound edge. A sharp, understated style with plenty of character.
