The Trilby
A smaller, sharper classic with a century of character.
The Trilby takes its name from George du Maurier’s 1894 novel Trilby, where the style was worn by the title character. It later became a defining hat of 20th-century fashion, known for its compact proportions and distinctive dipped front brim.
Our traditional Trilby is crafted from premium felt, with a smaller crown and proportions than a Fedora and a 5.5cm brim dipped at the front.
A heavier-weight felt creates a stiffer, more structured crown and brim.
