The Sou’wester is an oilskin hat with a low-sloping brim and ear flaps for extra protection from the elements. Also includes a chin cord with toggle & keeper and a soft brushed cotton lining. Brim width increases from 6.5cm at the front to 10cm at the back. Coated in wax this hat is perfect for wet weather conditions.

Sizing Guide

How to measure your head

  1. Take a tape measure, or you can use a piece of non-stretch string and then measure that afterwards.
  2. Wrap the tape around the circumference of your head; above the ears and across the middle of the forehead, roughly where you would comfortably sit a hat.
  3. Make sure it is not too tight or your hat will give you a migraine!
  4. Record the measurement in cm’s (this is what we use for made-to-order hats such as fur felts) or have a look in the size chart above for your standard size.
