The Optimum is the ultimate outdoors hat that’s made from ‘Hydrotex’ fabric that has a technical membrane that resists water and wind.

  • Features a wide-brim hat with concealed legionnaires neck flap.
  • Crushable crown with a floatation pad.
  • Adjustable chin cord with toggle & keeper.
  • Compartments on the outside band for golf tee or fishing fly, two brass mesh side eyelets, and a concealed pocket for cash or keys.
  • Approx 7.5cm brim, and neck flap measure 19cm long x 45cm wide.
  • The neck flap is made from SportX Dry a quick-dry antibacterial moisture-wicking sports fabric.

Sizing Guide

How to measure your head

  1. Take a tape measure, or you can use a piece of non-stretch string and then measure that afterwards.
  2. Wrap the tape around the circumference of your head; above the ears and across the middle of the forehead, roughly where you would comfortably sit a hat.
  3. Make sure it is not too tight or your hat will give you a migraine!
  4. Record the measurement in cm’s (this is what we use for made-to-order hats such as fur felts) or have a look in the size chart above for your standard size.
